Take a walk through this charming forest to find out what is creating a strange shift in the atmosphere.

This game is a 2D walking simulator where you walk through a forest that has become affected by a negative energy shift.

It's about burnout and features some of my thoughts and experiences.

The environment and how the character moves through it reflect how it can feel experiencing burnout. The slowness, darkness  and increased gravity are intentional even if it may be a bit frustrating to play (I apologise!).

Controls:

Left and Right Arrow Keys to move

Up and Down Arrow Keys or Left Mouse Button to make a choice selection

Space to Jump

"i' to interact with the environment

Enter to pass through dialogue text

Lighting effects are nice. movement feels a bit slow. The darkness is nice but really hard to see the environment. Its not clear that you press enter to continue in text. The game is good so far. Love the art sytle. Keep it up!

Hi! I really appreciate the feedback and have applied some tweaks to the update!

I've made a minor change to the lighting so it won't be as dark (still pretty dark though) and added an extra little bit in the controls menu about how to skip through the dialogue.

I've also updated the description to add some extra context about the movement and environment as this game is for a university project.

Once again, thanks for the feedback and thanks for taking some time to play the game!

Great work! I like the changes alot. Atleast the ones I noticed. If you did all the art and sound then great job it all looks really well done.

The art was done by Penzilla and the music was done by 1144ghost. They're credited in the description :-)
