ROUTE 172

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live a day in someone else's shoes? 

When you enter this bus, you gain the power to embody someone else.

Get that promotion! Meet the deadline! Rock out with your bud! Reveal your secret!

Or don't, it's your choice. Once you get off the bus, you lose that power.

Route 172 is a collection of minigames based on the 'Museum of Me' brief. I was inspired by some bus journeys -- one 4am bus journey in particular -- where i wondered where all the people on the bus were going to and what they had planned for the rest of their day.

The game uses keyboard and mouse controls.

All the art is mine except the images used in the Visual Novel/Interactive Fiction section of the game, which includes line art licensed from Adobe Stock.

I used the Fungus plug-in for creating the narrative elements of the game.

The music in the rhythm game is from Freesound.org.

NOTE: When you get off the bus, the game will end and you will be taken to the beginning of the narrative, forcing it to restart.
